It tracks the S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index using a near-equal-weighted sampling approach across large-, mid-, and small-cap biotech stocks. The fund gives investors broad, diversified exposure to the biotechnology sector rather than concentrated bets on a handful of large drugmakers.
